Tristan Coloma

Artist member since 2020
Whitby, Ontario

Tristan Velasquez Coloma is a Filipino-born emerging artist based in Toronto. He graduated with his BFA in Drawing and Painting at OCAD University in 2020. Tristan mostly paints in acrylic and draws with ink pen and graphite pencil. His artistic inspiration comes from feelings, memories, traumas and psychology. He produces portraits that strongly embody emotionally charged imagery in order to explore the human psyche, especially the psychology of self, and to open conversations surrounding the social stigma attached to men's mental health.
